Thanks for posting this! I was curiuos what you were buying. I posted my VIB cart today too. We have one crossover, but I only put it in because you always recommend it: the Too Faced Bronzer. But now I want to go in the store and check out the lipglosses and lipsticks you listed.

I plan to stock up on some staples, such as my Living Proof hair care (shampoo/conditioner, flex spray, straight spray) and Clarisonic brush heads. I may spring for the Luxe body brush head as well. I think I will also splurge on the L'Occitane Amande Milk Concentrate. It's so wonderful but I can't bring myself to spend $50 on it. I'm already struggling with the thought of spending $40.

Oh, I also meant to add that I think you should cut your hair. I'm a big beliver of "it's only hair, it will grow back". If you're worried about it, just try to cut about 2-3 inches off at a time. If you're okay with it, go another couple inches shorter for the next time. But I think having it to your collarbone would be a super cute length. I wish I could wear my hair as long as yours but it's so thick and unruly (not super curly, just wavy and frizzy), I just can't maintain it… unless I could afford weekly blowouts, which I cannot. So I'm stuck with shoulder-length hair.

Awesome Choices Marnie! I am thinking of either the Original Naked 1, have the 2 & dont use it, or the Choc Bar palette, nothing exciting really, I actually have too many items on my list! I know I have to pick the Caudalie Lip Treatment, excellent product & works on my very chapped lips! I have the Nars pressed powder & I am on the fence about it, has a hard film over it & its hard to tell if you have product on your brush, I dont see any magic when using it either, I keep hoping for the magic though. Anxious to hear your thoughts on this if you purchase.

I heard the same thing about the Nars powder, but I have a plan-I'm going to take one of my disposable mascara wands and rub off the top layer. I've tried that on other powders and it works like a charm. If it doesn't, I'll just return it!

I'm always hesitant to give anyone anything scented, ( the hand creams) for fear that they won't like it. For me anything with Vanilla gives me headaches to the point I will get nauseous. My son is in H.S. an Junior, and Teacher gifts stopped in Elementry school unless it's one of his favorite teachers or coaches. I plan on getting a the too faced bronzer, Laura Mericer Primer, and the Caudalie Premier Cru The Eye Cream. For the cost of the eye cream I'm hoping it turns back 10 years!

I was a teacher (and always will be a teacher at heart), so I appreciate what the teachers do for my kids, no matter what grade they're in. I have one in 8th grade and one who is also a junior, and I ALWAYS give all of them a small gift. If they don't like the hand cream or the Starbucks card, they can always give it to a friend, but at least they'll know I'm thinking of them and appreciate what they do for my kids.

Are you going to the VIB event at the store the evening of the 5th? I love those events…I am looking at getting gifts and Nars products. I have been trying something new with every sale. Living Proof Flex Spray was my last new find, love it.
