You can swap out the ground beef for any ground meat. I’ve made it with ground turkey and ground chicken as well-and it’s hard to pick a favorite!
(I use unsweetened plain almond milk)
(I use Franz Mountain White Gluten-Free Bread)
Shredded Raw Carrot
(If I don’t have carrots, I skip this ingredient)
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
(I use Go Veggie Brand)
Lean Ground Beef
(I use Sweet Baby Ray’s Honey BBQ Sauce)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Beat eggs with milk in a large bowl.
Add salt, pepper, and bread and mix until the bread absorbs all the milk.
Add onion, carrots (if you have them), cheese, and beef. Mix until blended.
Place meat mixture in a standard size loaf pan.
Cover entire top of meatloaf with BBQ sauce-you may need more than 1/2 cup (you can never have too much!)
Bake for one hour. Take it out of the oven and let sit for 10-15 minutes before serving.
